What is a Shortblock? Was ist ein Shortblock?

A Shortblock is an installed “half engine”. In the Shortblock are all parts new, in original equipment manufacturer quality and already installed. Beside the crank case and all substantial “turning” engine parts are including.

 Ein Shortblock ist ein montierter "Halbmotor". Im Shortblock sind alle Teile neu, in Erstausrüsterqualität und bereits fertig montiert. Neben dem Kurbelgehäuse sind alle wesentlichen "drehenden" Motorteile enthalten.
